Highland -- Matt Kesinger rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, Chase Coffin completed nine of 12 passes for 161 yards and two TDs and Aaron Gardner recorded two interceptions, one of which he returned 41 yards for a score as McLouth blanked Highland.
Highland surprised the Bulldogs (2-1) when it opened in a single-wing offense.
"We'd heard about it, but we'd never played against it before," McLouth coach Gerard Aligo said. "They're in a tough situation. They're down to about 17 kids, so they're running an offense that will make them survive.
"Things you normally would run don't work. You tell your guys to fill the gaps, but there are no gaps. Everybody's toe-to-toe. At the beginning, they were getting some yardage, but the kids made good adjustments once we figured out what the heck was going on."
In addition to his 41-yard interception-return touchdown, Gardner scored the first TD on an 18-yard rush. Shane Duncan and Derek Peterson caught the touchdown passes from Coffin.
McLouth will travel to Jackson Heights next Friday.
