2-1 in Olathe

Olathe -- Free State High's volleyball team took two of three matches at Olathe North on Thursday night.

The Firebirds defeated Olathe North, 15-8, 15-5, and Blue Valley North, 15-13, 15-9, but fell to Overland Park Aquinas, 15-7, 16-14.

The Firebirds (4-2) will compete Saturday at 10-team Johnson County High School Invitational at Johnson County Community College.
