Why haven't there been any restaurant reviews in The Mag recently?

"After reviewing restaurants for three years, we decided to stop them about three months ago," Jan Biles, editor of The Mag, said. "We had pretty much exhausted the restaurant resources in Lawrence and many of the surrounding communities, and had begun to repeat stories on a number of restaurants.

"If in the future, the Lawrence restaurant scene adds a number of new restaurants of varying cuisines we might consider doing the restaurant reviews again."

The movie that was made here awhile back "Ride With the Devil," has that been out or is it on videotape?

"Ride With the Devil," the movie shot last summer in Missouri and Kansas, is expected to make its premiere Nov. 24. The film, directed by Ang Lee and starring Jewel, Jeffrey Wright, Skeet Ulrich, Simon Baker Denny and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, is about the Civil War-era border smirishes along the Kansas-Missouri line and includes scenes showing Quantrill's raid on Lawrence.
