Motorists may encounter delays this week on these major streets due to construction projects, according to the Lawrence Public Works Department.
1. Connecticut Street, Eighth Street to 13th Street. Sections closed to through traffic for sanitary sewer relief improvements.
2. Ohio Street, 18th to 19th. Possible traffic restrictions for water-line improvements.
3. Tennessee Street, 11th to 14th. Parking restricted for water-line improvements.
4. 19th Street, Haskell to Learnard. Traffic restricted for water-line improvements.
5. Haskell, 19th to 23rd. Traffic restricted for water-line improvements.
6. Monterey Way, Harvard Road to 15th. Closed for street reconstruction and storm sewer improvements.
7. N. Second St. at railroad underpass near Union Pacific Depot. One lane closed for pedestrial railing repair.
8. E. 23rd Street at Harper. One lane westbound traffic restricted for street widening.
