CLINT WAHQUAHBOSHKUK

Mayetta -- Tribal drum services for Clint Levi Wahquahboshkuk, 23, Mayetta, will be conducted this evening at the Dancegrounds, west of Mayetta. Burial will be Monday afternoon at the Mitchell Cemetery on the Potawatomi Reservation.

Mr. Wahquahboshkuk died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center due to complications from a motor vehicle accident Aug. 29 in North Lawrence.

He was born Feb. 26, 1976, in Holton, the son of Pete Wahquahboshkuk and Jackie Mitchell.

Mr. Wahquahboshkuk worked for the Tribal Road and Bridge Department.

He was a member of the Prairie Band of the Potawatomi Tribe and the Indian Drum Religion.

Survivors include his parents, Jackie Mitchell and Timothy Ramirez, Mayetta, and Pete and Vicki Wahquahboshkuk, Mayetta; two sisters, Angela Bell and Leigh Ann Wahquahboshkuk, both of Mayetta; and four brothers, Eldon, Theodore, Colton and Lance, all of Mayetta.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today at the Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, and after 3:30 p.m. today at the Danceground building.
