Dodge City (ap) -- Quotations for Thursday:

Confirmed: 1,400. Trade rather slow. Few sales slaughter steers and heifers fully steady. Inquiry and demand moderate. Sales confirmed on 100 slaughter steers and 1,300 slaughter heifers Friday. This week's confirmed sales 93,500 head including 38,000 head or about 41 percent previously contracted or formulated cattle. Sales FOB feedlot net weights after 4 percent shrink.

Slaughter steers: load select and choice 2-3 1325 lb 65.00; load select with end choice 1200 lb Longhorns 62.00.

Slaughter heifers: few pens select to mostly choice 2-3 1150-1200 lb 66.50; few pens select and choice 1125-1200 lb 66.00.
