MS Society plans
employment program
The Multiple Sclerosis Society will host "Employment Issues for People with Multiple Sclerosis" from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka.
Topics for the program will include the Americans with Disabilities Act, accessibility, reasonable accommodation, disclosure and vocational rehabilitation.
The MS Society has also announced available funds to assist individuals with MS who meet eligibility requirements. Assistance can be provided for help with medical equipment and expenses, emergency aid, and to maintain independent living.
