United Methodist
Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church, 6020 S.E. 44th, Tecumseh, will hold its annual fall dinner from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 25. The Rev. Cloyce Thornton and his wife, Patsy, will present a gospel concert at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Evangelical Friends Church, 1601 N.H. They have presented many gospel concerts in Kansas and Oklahoma. Cloyce Thornton will play the guitar, steel guitar, banjo, trumpet and harmonica, and Patsy Thornton will accompany on the keyboard.
