JULIANNE A. BUCK
Services for Julianne A. Buck, 71, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, Mo. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kan.
Mrs. Buck died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at her home.
She was born May 2, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Harry and Blanche Aaron. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1945.
Mrs. Buck was an American Red Cross volunteer, a tutor to non-English speaking students and a leader of Great Books discussion groups.
She married Bruce F. Buck in August 1949. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Joel A. Buck; two daughters, Julianne B. Williams and Margaret B. Hynes; a sister, Bernadine A. Scott; a brother, Benjamin L. Aaron; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County or the American Red Cross, and they may be sent in care of D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 N. Antioch Rd., Gladstone, Mo. 64119.
