CHARLES G. EWING
Tonganoxie -- Graveside memorial services for Charles G. Ewing, 83, Leavenworth, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mr. Ewing died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at the Leavenworth County Infirmary, Leavenworth.
He was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Princeton, Mo., the son of George V. and Leah (Lushbaugh) Ewing.
Mr. Ewing served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He married Dora Irene (Baldwin) Siegrist on June 29, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo. She died in 1992.
Survivors include two stepsons, Larry Siegrist, Youngstown, N.Y., and Warren A. Siegrist, Lee's Summit, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Paula Heagy, Elvaston, Ill., Susie Parmer, Tonganoxie, and Karen Sirridge, Paradise Valley, Ariz.; a sister, Mary Brunk, McPherson; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross, and they may be sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
