GET ONBOARD
The Lawrence Public Transit Advisory Committee is holding its first public hearing today to get feedback from the public about a proposed network of routes for the new city bus system.
The meeting runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the East Lawrence Recreation Center. Members of the public can stop any time during those hours to look at maps of the proposed routes and offer comments or suggestions.
A second public meeting will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Union Pacific Depot on North Second Street.
