Kenneth Anderson, dean of the Kansas University School of Education, was appointed regional coordinator for Project Talent, the national ability and aptitude census that was to involve testing and follow-up studies regarding 450,000 high school pupils. Anderson was a nationally known expert of educational demographics and student trends.
