Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 52-year-old Lawrence man reported that $660 in cash, a nickel-plated .357 Python and other items were stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday from his house in the 2500 block of Cimarron. Total loss was $1,460.
  • A 28-year-old Lawrence woman reported a Ford Taurus valued at $2,500 was stolen between 12:40 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. Sunday from the 1100 block of East 13th.
  • An 18-year-old Lawrence resident reported a license tag, compact-disc player and other items valued at $2,401 were stolen between 12:40 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Monday from the 500 block of Fireside.
  • A Pizza Hut employee reported that a delivery driver accepted a counterfeit $10 bill about 11 p.m. Friday at Naismith Hall, 1800 Naismith. The person who gave the bill to the driver was in the parking lot of the hall; when police checked the room number given by the suspects, he didn't live there.
  • Flashlights and other items valued at a total of $1,166 were reported stolen from Midway USA Services Inc., 807 Lincoln, between 11 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. Sunday.
  • A 19-year-old woman reported stereo speakers valued at a total of $1,300 were stolen between 3 p.m. Aug. 29 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30 from the 900 block of North Third.

Condition reports

  • Joshua Longhat, Zuni, N.M., was in fair condition Tuesday at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., where he is recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Aug. 29.
  • Kerry Jymm, 21, Gallup, N.M., was in critical condition Tuesday at KUMC, where he is recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Aug. 29.
  • Clint Wahquahboshkuk, 23, Mayetta, was in critical condition Tuesday at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he is recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Aug. 29.
  • Kylee Stalkfleet, 15, Oskaloosa, was in fair condition Tuesday at KUMC, where she is recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Aug. 20.
  • Kim A. Groenhagen, 35, McLouth, was in fair condition Tuesday at KUMC, where he is recovering from burn injuries sustained in a July 30 fire at Heetco Inc. Groenhagen had been listed in critical condition Sunday.
  • Dan Blomgren, Lawrence, was in serious condition Tuesday at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he is recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accidentSept. 1.
