Services for Richard D. Moore, 57, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lied Center. He donated his body to Kansas University Medical Center.

Mr. Moore died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1942, the son of Bruce and Gladys Moore. He graduated in 1960 from Hiawatha High School and in 1977 from Benedictine College. He retired in 1996 from Reuter Organ Co., where he designed and drafted pipe organs for churches and universities.

Mr. Moore was a volunteer usher at the Lied Center, and was a member of the Lawrence Civic Choir, Olathe Civic Band, New Horizons Band and Home Harmony. He also was a substitute trombonist for the Jazzhaus Band.

Janice Moore, his wife of 35 years, survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Heather Mathis, Houston; and a sister, Mary Jane Sullivan, Kalamazoo, Mich.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care in Douglas County, in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
