— Services for Loring DeWitt Dalton, 85, of Naples, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lely Presbyterian Church, Naples. Burial of ashes will be in the Memorial Garden at the church

Mr. Dalton died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at Manor Care at Lely Palms, Naples.

He was born May 22, 1914, in Lawrence, the son of William B. and Margery (Bowersock) Dalton. He is a Kansas University graduate and worked 29 years for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis before retiring and moving to Naples in 1979.

Mr. Dalton served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He was an active member of Toastmasters for 47 years and served on its international board. He was an Elk, a Mason and an elder for Lely Presbyterian Church, and for 20 years he was a member of the Glades Golf Assn. in Naples.

He married Dorothy Young 63 years ago. She survives, of the home.

A son, Gary DeWitt Dalton, and a daughter, Barbara Dalton Wainwright, died earlier.

Fuller Funeral Home in East Naples, Fla., is handling arrangements.
