We were just wondering who the instructors were for those dancers at the fiesta at St. John's? They were wonderful.
The almost 40 dancers in Los Danzantes de St. John's, a Mexican folklorico dance group, are broken down into two groups. Sara Ortiz and Danny Tetuan coach the older children, ages 10 and up. Virginia Fode coaches the 10 and under dancers. The dancers' representative on the fiesta committee, Elsa Sprow, said fans can catch the troop at 3 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Fall Arts and Crafts Festival in South Park, 12th and Massachusetts streets.
