RICHARD D. MOORE

Memorial services for Richard D. Moore, 57, Lawrence, are pending and will be announced by Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. He donated his body to the Kansas University Medical Center.

Mr. Moore died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Horton, the son of Bruce and Gladys Moore. He graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1960 and from Benedictine College in 1977.

Mr. Moore had worked at Reuter Organ Company until retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Olathe Civic Band, New Horizons Band, Lawrence Civic Choir, Home Harmony and was a substitute with the Jazzhaus Band. He was also a volunteer usher at the Lied Center.

Survivors include his wife, Janice, of the home; a daughter, Heather Mathis, Houston; and a sister, Mary Jane Sullivan, Kalamazoo, Mich.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County, and they may be sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
