KATHRYN JO CHANDLER
Topeka -- Services for Kathryn Jo Chandler, 47, Olathe, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
Mrs. Chandler died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at an Olathe hospital.
She was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Clay Center, the daughter of Warren Dean and JoAnn (Hannan) Sharp.
She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1969 and received a nursing degree from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa, in 1973.
Mrs. Chandler had been a registered nurse at Bethany Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., and Beverly Health Care Center, Spring Hill. She was a member of the RLDS Church, Olathe.
She married Robert L. Chandler on July 22, 1972, in Topeka. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Christopher S. Chandler and Robert L. Chandler Jr., both of Belton, Mo., and Mike S. Chandler, Lawrence; her parents, Holton; a daughter, Kellie Chandler, Belton, Mo.; a sister, Arlene Cathey, Kansas City, Kan.; and two brothers, Gary Sharp, Overbrook, and David Sharp, Tulsa, Okla.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the National Kidney Foundation of Kansas and Western Missouri, 1900 W. 47th Place, Suite 107, Westwood 66205.
