Services for Leta B. Pine, 83, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Pine died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Cooper Nursing Home, Lawrence.
She was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Lawrence, the daughter of Stephen and Jenny (Henderson) McCann. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1934.
Mrs. Pine and her husband owned and operated Howard Pine's Greenhouse and Garden Center, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Lawrence.
She married Howard H. Pine on April 6, 1936, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Marvin, James and Gerald Pine, all of Lawrence; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Harold and Edward Pine, died earlier.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
The family suggests memorials to the Centenary United Methodist Church, and they may be sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
