Five syndicated television broadcasts and a trip to the Great Alaska Shootout highlight the Kansas University women's basketball schedule, which was released on Wednesday.
KU will make four appearances on Fox Sports Net -- Jan. 22 at Texas Tech, Jan. 29 against Iowa State, Feb. 10 against Texas and Feb. 19 against Kansas State. ESPN will air Kansas' Feb. 13 meeting at Nebraska.
KU will face Northern Arizona on Nov. 23 in the first round of the Great Alaska Shootout, an event the Kansas men also will attend.
Kansas' annual home tournament -- this year named the KU Credit Union Jayhawk Classic -- will run Dec. 3-4. The other teams in the field are UC-Santa Barbara, BYU and Loyola Marymount.
