"The Art of Work, the Work of Art," the second annual Labor Day Festival presented by the Kansas University department of theater and film's Performance Resource Center and Laboratory, will feature "Migrant ImagiNations," a workshop performance by Anita Gonzalez and Wanjiru Kamuyu.

The show will be at 8 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 in Inge Theatre in Murphy Hall.

Gonzalez is an assistant professor with Florida State University's School of Theater and a director-choreographer whose works have appeared at Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors, Dance Theater Workshop and other national venues. She is the founder, director and producer of Bandana Women, a performance company that uses folklore and vernacular to comment on contemporary issues.

Kamuyu is a member of Urban Bush Women, an Afro-American modern dance company.

"Migrant ImagiNations" is about migrants and immigrant movements through space, time and culture. The work is directed and choreographed by Gonzalez.

Tickets are available at the Murphy Hall Box Office, 864-3982. Seating is limited.
