Coffeyville -- Services for Clarence E. Eastburn, 84, Coffeyville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence.

Mr. Eastburn died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 21, 1915, in Rollin, the son of L. Delmer and Lola V. (Hardesty) Eastburn.

Mr. Eastburn worked for the Beech Aircraft Co., Wichita, from 1941 until his retirement in 1979. After retiring, he lived in Douglass.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Coffeyville. He was active for many years in pony-pulling and participated throughout the Midwest.

He married Shirley I. Roberts in 1941 in Chanute. They were later divorced. He married Serena J.M. (Steinke) Wiechert on April 10, 1981, in Coffeyville. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Eastburn-Wolfe, Carmel, Calif.; a stepson, Allen Wiechert, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Colonial Chapel, Coffeyville, and from 8 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and they may be sent in care of the funeral home, 412 W. Ninth St., Coffeyville 67337.
