6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Depression screening for members of the public, Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, 200 Maine. Dr. Sheldon Whitten-Vile, Bert Nash psychiatrist, also will lecture.

7 p.m.: Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals, city hall, Sixth and Massachusetts.

7 p.m.-9 p.m.: Screening of "Where Do You Hang Your Hat?" a documentary film about homeless people in Lawrence, shot by a visual anthropology team from Kansas University and three homeless consultants, auditorium, Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. Followed by a discussion of homelessness.

7 p.m.: Central Junior High School parent meeting, 1400 Mass.

FRIDAY

9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.: Immunization clinic, Eudora City Hall, 4 E. Seventh. A fee will be charged. Sponsored by the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department.

10:30 a.m.: Story time for toddlers and preschool children, Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. Registration required for toddlers.

1:30 p.m.: Lawrence High School Homecoming Parade. The parade route is from South Park, 11th and Massachusetts, to Lawrence High School, 1901 La.

5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Broken Arrow School Carnival, Broken Arrow School, 2704 La., and the South Junior High School cafeteria, 2734 La.

7 p.m.: Film Noir movie series, Lawrence Public Library auditorium, 707 Vt. Call 843-3833 for movie scheduled.

SATURDAY

7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Farmers' Market, city parking lot in the 1000 block of Vermont. Program: "Fall Harvest Festival," featuring pumpkin carving, mums, dried flowers, caramel apples, kettle corn, a recipe contest, cider sampling and music.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Lawrence Friends of the Library book giveaway, Seventh and Kentucky streets.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Flu immunization clinic, Dillons food store, 1015 W. 23rd, sponsored by Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department.

10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Parks and Recreation Department's brush and tree branch collection site open, 1110 Haskell.

10 a.m.: Citizens for Public Transportation, Lawrence Public Library gallery, 707 Vt.

SUNDAY

2:30 p.m.: Performance by Camerata Lawrence, an informal association of musicians in the Lawrence community dedicated to the performance of chamber music, Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. Sponsored by the library and the Friends of the Lawrence Public Library.
