Graveside services for Juanita Mae (Vantuyl) Phillips, 85, Woodruff, S.C., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett, Mo.

Mrs. Phillips died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in Woodruff, S.C.

She was born May 5, 1914, in Baxter Springs, the daughter of Warren and Louise (Edwards) Vantuyl.

Mrs. Phillips had worked at Kansas University.

She married Ray Phillips Aug. 25, 1936, in Monett, Mo. He died Dec. 3, 1988.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy O'Keefe, Lawrence, and Barbara Charles, Woodruff, S.C.; four brothers, Edd Vantuyl, Lacey, Wash., Ronald and Bill Vantuyl, both of El Dorado, Mo., and Jerry Vantuyl, Kennewick, Wash.; two sisters, Dorothy Layton, Pasco, Wash., and Jean Tornaden, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, Mo.
