Douglas County residents who want to learn the difference between grief, passing sadness and serious clinical depression can take part today in National Depression Screening Day.
The Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center and 3,000 other sites across the country are offering education and private meetings with therapists. The screening program, sponsored by the National Mental Illness Screening Project, will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today in the second floor meeting room of the mental health center, 200 Maine.
