Oskaloosa -- Services for Bessie L. Dyche, 72, McLouth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at McLouth United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Fowler Cemetery, northeast of McLouth.

Mrs. Dyche died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

She was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Marshall A. and Florence Belle (Akers) Elliott.

She was a 1944 graduate of Edwardsville High School. She had lived in rural McLouth for 43 years, moving from Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Dyche was the McLouth-area reservationist for the Jefferson County Service Organization.

She was a member of the McLouth United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of McLouth Senior Citizens.

She married William Michael Dyche on May 4, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan. He died March 3, 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Lathaire M. Wonnell and Deborah Ann Larimore, both of McLouth; two sisters, Ruth Neal, Edwardsville, and Wilma Seutter, Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home.
