KU professor gives
$25,000 for architecture
A Kansas University professor has donated $25,000 to fund scholarships at the KU School of Architecture and Urban Design.
Alan Black, professor in the School of Architecture and Urban Design, established the Urban Planning Fund with the gift. The fund will provide merit-based scholarships for graduate students studying urban planning.
Black has taught at KU for 18 years, and had previously taught at the University of Texas and Michigan State University.
