RESERVOIRS

CLINTON -- Water 68 degrees, murky and 6.9 feet high. Crappie good close to bank and in outlet using sassy shad, jigs and minnows. Walleye fair using jig and nightcrawler on flats. White bass fair on minnows, jigs, sassy shad and roadrunners on dam, and jigs in outlet.

HILLSDALE -- Water 66 degrees, fair to murky and four feet high. Crappie fair. Recent rains caused fish to move off the banks and the bite to slow dramatically. Largemouth bass fair. A few fish are being taken on minnows. Channel catfish fair to good lakewide, especially where creeks are dumping in.

PERRY -- Water 65 degrees. Crappie good with tube jigs and minnows on banks. Mornings seem to be most productive. Water conditions ideal and the spawn is on. Channel catfish fair to good on shad sides, green worms or nightcrawlers where creeks are running into lake. White bass fair to good in stilling basin on twisters or small spinners.

STATE FISHING LAKES

DOUGLAS -- Channel catfish fair on nightcrawlers. Crappie good on minnows and jigs.

LEAVENWORTH -- Largemouth bass good using plastic lizards, grubs, crankbaits and shiners. Crappie good using minnows and jigs near shore. Bluegill good using nightcrawlers and small jigs.

SHAWNEE -- Black bass good on artificials along shoreline lakewide. Channel catfish good on worms and prepared bait lakewide.
