Veterans to have
Veterans will be remembered in three Memorial Day services at area cemeteries Monday.
The day, dedicated to veterans and other deceased, brings Americans to cemetaries to honor friends and family.
The Disabled American Veterans will replace wreaths and American flags by graves before their 9 a.m. service at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Then the American Legion will hold a half-hour service at 10 a.m. Monday in the veterans plot of Oak Hill Cemetary.
And third, the Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold a service honoring veterans, especially those who served in foreign wars, at 11 a.m. in Memorial Park cemetery across the street.
Behind both the American Legion and VFW services an Avenue of Flags from the caskets of hundreds of fallen servicemen will fly in memoriam.
