School in Oskaloosa was held without incident Tuesday, following a bomb threat that led to dismissal of classes around noon on Monday.
Jefferson County Sheriff's officers and bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the children for the rest of the day because of the length of time it was going to take them to look through the building," he said.
Oskaloosa's last day of classes is Thursday. The elementary school, junior high and high school are located in the same complex.
The incident marked the third bomb threat at Jefferson County schools since late April. Two bomb threats were made at McLouth schools.
Two teen-age girls have been charged in one of the incidents.
