* Consider a final plat for Mt. Blue Addition, a two-lot planned industrial subdivision covering 7.434 acres east of Franklin Road and north of 25th Street. Submitted by Landplan Engineering for Roger D. Johnson of Gary L. Thomas Land L.C., property owner of record.

  • Consider a final plat for Firehouse Station No. 2 Subdivision, a one-lot residential plat covering 1.67 acres on the east side of Harper Street, about 840 feet north of 23rd Street. Submitted by EBH & Associates for the city, which is the property owner of record.
  • Consider a final plat for Williamsburg Place Subdivision (formerly called Lemesany Subdivision No. 2), a one-lot, one-tract multifamily residential subdivision covering 2 acres about 314 feet west of Inverness Drive, between Clinton Parkway and Wimbledon Drive. Commissioners will consider a variance from the city code requiring improvement of a temporary turnaround when dead end streets are proposed longer than one lot, and a variance to permit a local street to intersect an arterial street.
  • Consider a preliminary plat for Legends Trail Addition, a 40-lot residential subdivision covering 6.96 acres south of 15th Street, about 650 feet west of George Williams Way. Submitted by Landplan Engineering for the Ross Wulfkuhle Trust, in care of Alvamar Inc., property owner of record. Commissioners will consider a variance from the city code to permit a local street to intersect an arterial street.
  • Consider a final plat for Prairie Meadows Northeast No. 2, a one-lot residential plat covering 0.208 acre at the southwest corner of Grand Circle and Crestline Drive. Submitted by Landplan Engineering on behalf of Jerry Willis, managing partner of Grand L.L.C., the property owner of record. Commissioners also will consider removal of platted access restriction to Crestline Drive, a collector street.
  • Consider a final plat for Stormont-Vail No. 2, a two-lot replat covering 3.124 acres on Biltmore Drive northwest of the intersection of Wakarusa and Legends drives. Commissioners will consider granting a variance to the city code to reduce the minimum lot width in the M-1 District.
  • Consider making text amendments to the Zoning Regulations for the unincorporated portions of Douglas County. Specifically: Change "Definitions" and "Conditional Uses," regarding sexually oriented businesses. The request was initiated in March by the Douglas County Commission.
  • Consider making text amendments to the joint City/County Subdivision Regulations to require property located within the Urban Growth Area (UGA) to be subdivided according to the regulations, as initiated in April by the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission.
  • Consider a request to withdraw 3.953 acres from the Holiday Hills PUD. The property is located east of "Dad" Perry Park and north of Tiffany Drive (if extended east). Requested by Landplan Engineering for Robert M. Santee of Denning-Santee Land Associates Inc., the property owner of record.
  • Consider a request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow the addition of a 600-square-foot display area to the existing commercial greenhouse operation and related buildings at 1236 N. 100 Rd., Baldwin. Requested by Greg and Pam Hamill, property owners of record.
  • Consider a request to annex 40.47 acres of an original 121.89-acre tract south of Sixth Street and east of the South Lawrence Trafficway. Requested by Price Banks, agent for Diamondhead Limited Partnership, property owner of record. Commissioners also will consider a request to rezone 9.04 acres from A (Agricultural District) to RM-D (Residence-Duplex District) in the area. A request to rezone 31.48 acres from A (Agricultural District) to RS-2 (Single-Family Residence District) in the area has been requested for deferral by the applicant.
  • Consider a request to annex 5.791 acres south of the Kansas Turnpike and 1,800 feet west of Kasold Drive. Requested by Landplan Engineering for Russell Tuckel Sr., property owner of record. Commissioners also will consider a request to rezone the property from A (Agricultural District) to RM-D (Residential-Duplex District.) Another 0.184 acres would be rezoned from RS-2 (Single-Family Residence District) to RM-D.
  • Ten items related to the potential development of 163.46 acres along the south side of Clinton Parkway, between Crossgate and Inverness drives -- known as the Getto property -- have been requested for deferral by the applicant.
  • Consider a request for annexation of 10 acres along east side of East 1600 Road (O'Connell Road), north of Prairie View Planned Residential Development. Commissioners also will consider: a request to rezone the property from A (Agricultural District) to PRD-1 (Planned Residential Development); and a preliminary development plan for Larkspur Addition, which calls for a planned residential townhome development, consisting of 65 townhome units on the 10 acres.
