Immediate $100 cash rewards are available to people who give the Lawrence Police Department information that leads to the arrests of two men wanted on warrants.

Michael B. Basquine and Robert H. Williamson Jr. are the featured fugitives for Crime Stoppers in May.

Basquine, a 34-year-old black male, is wanted on a warrant for robbing Alvin's grocery store May 6 at Ninth and Iowa. He is one of two suspects for the holdup.

Officer Dave Anderson, who coordinates Crime Stoppers, said Basquine, who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, has ties to Topeka. Basquine has brown eyes and hair.

The South Dakota Department of Corrections is seeking Williamson for a state parole violation. Authorities believe he is in the Douglas County area, Anderson said.

The 33-year-old white male, who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, was in prison for felony theft, Anderson said.

Williamson has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (785) 843-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous, and Crime Stoppers does not record tip calls or subscribe to Caller ID, a telephone system that displays phone numbers of incoming calls.
