GLADYS LYDIA PIPPERT
Services for Gladys Lydia Pippert, 92, Overland Park, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Central United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Worden Cemetery, Worden.
Mrs. Pippert died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at Villa St. Joseph Health Center, Overland Park.
She was born Feb. 24, 1907, in Worden, the daughter of William Charles and Susie Warner Rappard.
She was a legal secretary before her marriage, and she and her husband owned Frank's Furniture Store for 27 years.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the Knife and Fork Club, and the Quivera Club.
She married Frank Pippert on Feb. 24, 1932, in Worden. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Owens, Leawood; a son, Ronald Pippert, Overland Park; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Central United Methodist Church, and they may be sent in care of the mortuary.
