Three organizations could play ball at Free State High School under an arrangement up for review Tuesday.

Youth baseball and softball leagues operated by Lawrence Parks and Recreation, the Lawrence Amateur Baseball Assn. and Holcom Baseball Assn. would have access to Free State's fields from May 20 to Oct. 31.

The leagues need more space -- not only because of league growth, but also because fields at the city's Holcom Sports Complex are too small, said Fred DeVictor, the city's director of parks and recreation. Only one Holcom field has fences more than 275 feet from home plate.
