Should teachers' salaries be based on the performance of their students?

Lance Parker

cook,

Lawrence

"No, because some students just don't want to learn."

Nathan Coke,

construction worker,

Lawrence

"Maybe not solely on that, but it might be an indicator of how good they are, like 30 percent or so, but not a complete indicator."

Jodi Brown,

clothing store employee,

Lawrence

"Yeah, because I think that regardless of the mental capability of the student, they perform better for a teacher who attempts to form a rapport with the student."

Laura Gonzalez,

clothing store employee,

Lawrence

"I think so. I think it's more incentive to be a better teacher if they'll get paid more."
