Alzheimer's disease experts will talk about current research, caring for patients in rural areas and issues faced in home settings at an upcoming symposium in Salina.
The Kansas Department on Aging, in cooperation with the Alzheimer's Disease Center at the Kansas University Medical Center, will present "Hope on the Horizon" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 23 at the Holiday Inn in Salina. The information is targeted toward family caregivers, physicians, nurses and social workers, but anyone with an interest is invited to attend.
