KAREN DUFFY MARKS
Edinburgh, Scotland -- Services for Karen Duffy Marks, 59, Edinburgh, Scotland, were held July 9 at Pentland Chapel.
Mrs. Marks died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at her home of cancer.
She was born June 26, 1940, in Topeka, the daughter of James and Opal Duffy. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1958, and from Kansas University.
Mr. Marks was a school teacher.
She married Kenneth Melrose Marks on June 22, 1963. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Emily Marks, London, Alice Marks, Nice, France, and Jocelyn McKernan, Edinburgh; a brother, James, Victoria, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
