Taylor-Nadvornik

Jennifer J. Taylor and Gregory L. Nadvornik, both of Lawrence, were married June 12, 1999, at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship with Paul D. Taylor officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Paul D. and Barbara Taylor, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Ronald and Sally Nadvornik, Lawrence.

Laura Kihm was maid of honor, and best men were Patrick Nadvornik and Charles Nadvornik.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Taylor, Joanna Ahlman and Angela Dykshorn. Groomsmen were Philip Oberzan and Joseph Yockey.

Elisa Willems and Bliss Lemmon were ballet dancers, and Olivia Taylor was flowergirl.

Receptions followed at the church and at the Lawrence Senior Center.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate who attended Kansas University. The groom also is a LHS graduate who is a student in architectural engineering at KU.

Lucero-Stickler

Sabrina Lucero and Jay Stickler, both of Eudora, were married June 19, 1999, at Danforth Chapel on the Kansas University campus with Noel Stephens officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Fred Lucero, Eudora, and George and Cheryl Hunsinger, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Jim and Debbie Stickler, Topeka.

Jana Douglass was maid of honor, and Teg Seetin was best man. Candi Lucero and Amy Ostronic were bridesmaids, and Bill Ostronic and Robi Goff were groomsmen.

Jared and Jacob Stickler were ring bearers, and Lacey Hunsinger was flowergirl. Sara Fuchs and Kathryn Fox were candlelighters. Bob Skulskie and Chad Tyler were ushers. Nicole Willis was guestbook attendant.

A reception followed at the Lawrence Holidome.

The bride and groom are graduates of Lawrence High School. The groom is a survey crew chief for C.P. Engineers & Land Surveyors in Topeka.

Thole-Berquist

Jennifer Kaye Thole and Craig Alan Berquist, both of Lawrence, were married April 17, 1999, at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Virgil Brady officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jon and Suzanne Thole, Marion. The groom is the son of the late Ardon and Ruth Berquist and stepson of Rae Berquist, Lindsborg.

Jill Thole was maid of honor, and Michelle Withers was matron of honor. Ted Fuhrken was best man. Laura Carpenter was a bridesmaid. Groomsmen were Jim Bird and Bruce Lopez.

Ushers were Kent Berquist, Kevin Meyer and Terry Miller. Candlelighters were Stacey and Jeremy Longhofer. Patrick Elliott was the reader. Christine Laue attended the guestbook, and Shelly Svaty was the bride's personal attendant.

Elizabeth Mulkey was the soloist, and the organist was Dan Abrahamson. Program and gift attendants were Aileen, Dena, Erin and Shannon Berquist.

A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. Reception servers were Dawn Brown, Amy Laubhan, Kerri Millert, Brandi Schultz and Paula Unseth. Darold and Barbara Longhofer were the host and hostess of the reception.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in sports administration from Kansas University. She is in her second year as compliance auditor for the Kansas University Athletics Corporation.

The groom is a graduate of Claflin High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in business administration from Kansas University. He is a senior health systems specialist for Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Miller-Self

Robyn Theresa Miller and Eric Michael Self, both of Lawrence, were married June 26, 1999, at Lake Shawnee gazebo, Topeka, with James Morford officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Barbara Swearingen, Topeka. The groom is the son of John and Vicki Self, Topeka.

Christy Self was maid of honor, and Nathan Judd was best man.

Christina Vasquez and Annie Joan Miller were bridesmaids, and Matthew Judd and Chris Bodenhausen were groomsmen. Matt Self and Wade Rundquist were ushers.

A reception was held in the garden house at Lake Shawnee.

The bride is a graduate of Topeka West High School and attended Allen County Community College and Washburn University. She is self-employed as an independent beauty consultant.

The groom is a graduate of Topeka West High School who attended Allen County Community College and Washburn University. He is a computer programmer for the Kansas University Endowment Association.
