— The great-grandson of Charles Darwin will show a film and give a lecture at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Linda Hall Library, 5109 Cherry St., Kansas City, Mo.

Quentin Keynes, an explorer and naturalist in his own right, will show a photographic documentary he made of the islands visited by his great-grandfather. The film, which took Keynes five years to complete, includes footage of the Galapagos Islands, Ascension Island, Saint Helena and the Falkland Islands.

The program is free and open to the public.
