In the first address of its kind for Baldwin, the mayor on Tuesday night gave a "state of the city" address at the city council meeting.
"We have survived a very turbulent year, with half of the year without a city administrator and nearly that long without a city clerk," said Baldwin Mayor Stan Krysztof.
Krysztof said that while the city is still recovering from the embezzlement of city funds by its former clerk, several projects have been planned for the upcoming year.
Those include: economic development studies, a utility capacity plan and a new water source.
The city also may look into providing cable television, Internet service and long-distance telephone service, the mayor said.
