Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A cordless drill, belt sander and other items valued on a police report at $2,484 were stolen between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday from Whelan's Contractor's Supply, 1516 W. Sixth.

Police reports

  • Baldwin police early Sunday arrested a 29-year-old Baldwin man on a warrant for aggravated criminal sodomy. Details about the arrest were not immediately available. The man was being held in the Douglas County Jail on $30,000 bond on Sunday night.
