Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 20-year-old Kansas University student told Lawrence police her Nikon 35mm camera was stolen sometime between 8 a.m. Dec. 15 and 5 p.m. Feb. 8 from the 400 block of Ohio, according to a report released Tuesday. She valued the camera at $1,500.

Police reports

  • Kansas University police are investigating $1,000 in damage to a car that was parked in a lot near McCollum Hall. The 19-year-old owner, a KU student, said the damage occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Monday.
