Herd-Wilkerson

Tammy Herd and Chad Wilkerson, Lawrence, were married May 22, 1999, at Danforth Chapel on the Kansas University campus in Lawrence with Glenn Devin officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Carl and Neva Herd, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Tom and Rosann Wilkerson, Lawrence.

Rachelle McCabe was matron of honor, and Rory White was best man. Jessica Herd was bridesmaid, and Michael Herd was groomsman.

Alesia Herd was flowergirl. John Wilkerson and Willie Wilkerson were ushers.

A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kansas State University. She works for Price Waterhouse Coopers in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Lawrence High School. He attended Kansas University and is manager of Jayhawk Spirit, the family business.

The couple live in rural Eudora.

Hamilton-Flood

Vanessa Renee Hamilton and Brett Michael Flood, Lawrence, were married June 11, 1999, at All Souls Catholic Church in Englewood, Colo., with the Rev. Thomas Fryer officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Leana Hamilton, Clay Center. The groom is the son of Barbara Flood, Littleton, Colo.

Chris Shanks was maid of honor, and Tony Jackson was best man.

Bridesmaids were Cory Ruedebusch, Wendy Post and Suzanne Flood. Groomsmen were Kevin Flood, Jeff Flood and Jon Hamilton. Caitlyn Palmquist was flowergirl. Patrick, Brian and Kevin Stahley were ushers. Meg Stahley was reader. Christina Cunningham attended the guestbook.

A reception was held at the Plaza in Englewood, Colo.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Clay Center Community College, Clay Center. She earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology in 1997 from Kansas University. She works as a microbiologist and coordinates a local quality improvement project for Lipton in Olathe.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Heritage High School, Littleton, Colo. He graduated in 1997 from Kansas University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast news. He is a news producer for WDAF Fox 4 News in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple recently moved from Lawrence to Prairie Village.
