A tip to Crime Stoppers led to the arrest Monday of one of the Lawrence Police Department's featured fugitives this month.
Douglas County Sheriff's Department officials arrested Annetta D. Moten about 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East 13th with the help of police, Crime Stoppers coordinator Dave Anderson said.
"She was arrested without incident," he said.
Police arrested Moten June 28 on three charges of the sale of cocaine, and she was scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court on July 19 but failed to do so. A judge issued a warrant for her arrest July 27.
Moten, 32, on Monday evening was in the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bond.
Police are still seeking Zack Sanders Jr., 23. Sanders pleaded guilty in June to possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and was scheduled for sentencing on Sept. 10. Officers arrested Sanders July 4 on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct, and federal authorities are revoking his bond, Anderson said.
Sanders is 6 feet tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
Police ask anyone with information about Sanders' whereabouts to call 843-TIPS.
