CAROLYN SUE EACOCK DARBY
Kenai, Alaska -- Memorial services for Carolyn Sue Eacock Darby, 57, Kenai, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 22, at the foot of Mount McKinley in Denali National Park. Cremation is planned and her ashes will be spread at the conclusion of the memorial services.
Mrs. Darby died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, in Soldotna, Alaska.
She was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Lawrence, Kan., the daughter of Geoffrey C. and Cora J. Eacock. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1959.
She married Gene Darby on June 6, 1959, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Deanna Caley, Kenai; a son, Michael Darby, Loveland, Colo.; her mother, Lawrence, Kan.; a sister, Linda Freeman, Parkville, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, and they may be sent in care of the Peninsula Memorial Chapel, 5839 Kenai Spur Highway, Kenai 99611.
