Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 1998 Ford Mustang valued at $18,995 was reported stolen between 8:45 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday from Carsmart Auto Center, 2300 W. 29th.
  • A Bobcat with a bucket valued at $15,500 was reported stolen between 12:35 p.m. Thursday and 6:10 a.m. Friday from the 2400 block of Ponderosa.
  • Speakers, 350 compact discs and other items valued at $5,900 were reported stolen between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday from a vehicle in the 2200 block of Massachusetts.

Condition reports

  • Kim A. Groenhagen, 35, McLouth, was in critical condition Saturday at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., where he is recovering from burn injuries suffered July 30 in a fire at Heetco Inc.
  • Tim Copp, 31, Lawrence, has been released from the KU Medical Center, where he was recovering from burn injuries suffered July 27.
