An investigation into cause of the July 30 fire at Heetco Inc. hasn't yet yielded any answers.
Douglas County Sheriff Loren Anderson said Tuesday nothing new had developed in the case.
Investigators have been waiting to talk to 35-year-old Kim A. Groenhagen, a McLouth man who burned over 90 percent of his body in the blaze.
Groenhagen remained in critical condition Tuesday at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. Doctors expect Groenhagen to survive, a hospital spokesman said.
Investigators are trying to determine why Groenhagen was in the area about 3:30 a.m. that Friday. Although sheriff's officials have not labeled the fire arson, they have said it seemed suspicious.
Members of Groenhagen's family have declined interviews.
The fire destroyed Heetco's roughly 2,000-square-foot office building, causing between $250,000 and $300,000 damage.
