An Internet access problem that lasted about 12 hours was corrected by 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sunflower Datavision manager Patrick Knorr said.
The problem, a misconfiguration originating with Denver-based Qwest Communications, left some Internet users unable to access various servers. Users of America Online were one of the largest groups affected.
The glitch was "a fairly unique problem," Knorr said, but never one that threatened area Internet users with mammoth problems.
"It was never a regional outage," he said. "Bumps kind of come up."
