Should parents be held responsible for their child's actions?

Brandon Henderson,

coffee shop manager,

"To a certain extent, yes. Parents are the most important influence on children as they grow up."

Jason Lund,

"No, not really, because there's only so much you can watch in your child's life, that you can be around for. Most kids are going to do what they want to do anyway, regardless of what their parents say."

Bruce Rainville,

bakery owner,

Stratford, Conn.

"To a certain degree, I guess. It depends on how old the child is. I think you've got to take some responsibility for them."

Philip Percich,

"To a degree. Sometimes there are actions that a parent has no way of knowing what their child is involved in."
