Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 25-year-old Kansas University student reported a black men's 24-speed mountain bike with yellow shocks stolen between 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Saturday from the 1300 block of Vermont. He valued the bike at $1,600 on a police report.
  • A 27-year-old Lawrence resident reported a $1,300 set of golf clubs stolen between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. Saturday from the 2500 block of Stowe Drive.
  • Schatz Underground Cable reported a $2,200 plastic pipe welder stolen between noon Thursday and 2:30 a.m. Friday from the 1100 block of North Third.
